Unraveling: a True Story of Madness & Magic is live and ready for purchase. I feel many things all at once. Excitement. Nervousness. Tremendous pride. But most of all, I feel ready.
I told this story in the same way that I would compose a painting. Diving straight in, slapping on the broad strokes, and then revisiting each area of the canvas to go deeper and add more detail. I follow the events of the main storyline, which play out in a linear way, while weaving in threads of past and future in a circular, overlapping pattern.
Bread crumbs are dropped along the way, and only by the end can you see the big picture. I wanted my readers to experience the story as I lived it...with moments of profound confusion and downward spirals of madness mixed with moments of awe-inspiring realization when it all comes together in what feels like the book version of a Celtic infinity knot.
This is the story of my spiritual awakening, enlightenment and endarkenment. But it’s much more than that. It's a love story that takes you beyond "happily ever after" to show how a loving marriage can become the foundation for an even deeper love of Self & Spirit.
